@cynblogger@GottaLaff Isn’t it though?? Personal experience…when my dad died, my brother got a death benefit payment (less than $700) b/c he was my dad’s dependent & my dad was in the Navy. They kicked him off & we had to reapply. He got his health insurance back but lost his other benefits like transport to take him to dr appts, etc. b/c my dad took a smaller ret. check, so my brother would get about $500. extra. Then my mom passed, same thing happened.🙄🤬😤😡

Rent, utilities, food, most of his dental, glasses, etc. He needs a root canal and a crown on a tooth, but his co-pay will be $1000. He also needs a new pair of glasses b/c when people have psychotic episodes, they tend to break them or lose them…it will cost him a min. of $400. probably.

@GottaLaff - Why Sarah Huckleberry Sanders is allowed to hold ANY office post-Trump is completely beyond me. It's like, "we KNOW you're into willing neglect and abandonment and that you're cool with fraud so here, have another politic office where your stupid can actually kill more people."
At the same time there's a $1 Billion+ budget surplus this year in Arkansas, and they're talking about calling a special session to decide whether to cut taxes more, and/or build more prisons.
One of my besties (a lib) lost her older brother to COVID during the height of the pandemic ignorance phase. He was a RW Arizona Republican and she couldn’t stand him. He was always cruel to her. I called her to say how sorry I was that he died. She said, “One less science denying dumbshit in the world infecting innocent others.” He infected their 86 yr old mother and put her in the hospital. She survived, but has long COVID symptoms now. 🫤

I don’t understand it either. She is just all around awful & the first to cry “meany” when people call her on her shit. Her comments about the SCOTUS decision on affirmative action were lacking in any kind of self knowledge. (“everyone starts at zero”– unless of course your daddy was the governor before you)

Oh Lawd, don't get me started on SSS! Out going Gov Asa Hutchinson, AND, the legislature, had approved raises for Arkansas State Employees, who haven't had one in 7 years. SSS comes in and nixes them. State just announced a bigger surplus than last year🤬
She promised the teachers $50K per year, then told school districts it is their problem to find the money.

And no one eats it more willingly than the southern middle class. They love licking daddy's boot. They vote for it over and over and over again, because freedom or something.
@GottaLaff not surprising. It’s a freakin nightmare to stay enrolled. My brother is disabled, and he would never be able to manage on his own. He has been disabled since he was 21, and is 65 now, but we still have to jump through hoops every time. I had to spend $5K to become his guardian in order to keep up with it. I have a college degree and I have trouble with it.
