@ai6yr Meanwhile "AI" still doesn't exist which has the resulting problem that the stuff output by various things like what they're suggesting often produces meaningless or even straight up false statements. In other words, it's probably going to produce false product reviews that could result in major problems for buyers.

Why are companies so determined to rush in headfirst on this?

@KatM @ai6yr @spike No, what it means is that Amazon is saying "hey, AI, please take the 50% of 5-star reviews which were posted by the dodgy manufacturer, the 25% of 1-star reviews posted by people too stupid to work out what they bought, and the 25% of genuinely informed reviews, then blend it all into a self-contradicting bit of spiel that throws in enough buzzwords and positivity to make gullible people buy the product without further research".

@ai6yr I've given up purchasing electrical goods from Amazon because I can't trust them, I've had to send so much back that the convivence of delivery is irrelevant.
And they're evil, so.....
