Contemporary “AI” has big “kitchen gadget” energy.

Someone's trying to sell you a new one every day.

They mostly don't work as as well as the pitch.

You can usually do that work with tools you already have.

They take up a dumb amount of space (and energy).

A few will enter regular use and we'll eventually think of them as obvious.

99% of them will eventually be put away and forgotten.

Going back through the prequels with my kids recently, I'm struck by how good Ian McDiarmid is as Palpatine. He knows the audience knows. Absolutely delicious as a villain. Chews up every scene.

Would it be possible/interesting to produce an eBook from an Ink file? Essentially you could write your interactive narrative fiction in the Ink format, then export it as an epub file, and then "read" the story on an e-reader, using inline links and such to jump around the narrative, sort of like a choose-your-own-adventure story.

Basically "games" on an e-ink tablet. In theory even images could be ported.

Not sure how some stories with complex logic would work. 🤔

Weird bug I’ve never seen with any previous iPhone I’ve owned: my iPhone 15 Pro stopped charging over USB-C. Tried multiple cables, multiple chargers, nothing.

Powered the iPhone off and back on, and it’s back to normal. But I can’t recall ever seeing an iPhone refuse to charge before. (iOS 17.0.3.)

If through an add-on, do you get the live Shudder channel, and in your experience, is there stuff you haven't been able to see/view re: content? I have heard different things so am curious to hear from people directly.
