Diese Logitech Software für mein Keyboard wird immer mehr zum Nervfaktor. Erst aktiviert es im Hintergrund einen AI Prompt Builder, den kein Mensch braucht. Und nun legt es immer einer Ordner ai_overlay_tmp im Homeverzeichnis an. Würde ich nicht so gerne auf der Tastatur tippen, würde der ganze Mist jetzt rausfliegen.

Now that I have paperless-ngx running and my #scanner is working, any suggestions for a #scanning software for #Linux?

I have an ADF duplex scanner and will mainly scan b&w ("lineart"), but sometimes in color, too. Output files should be PDF, OCR is optional. I need to be able to remove empty back side pages.

Is there anything that supports different, auto-detected page dimensions in a single PDF as well as auto-cropping and skew removal?

Ui, mir war garnicht bewusst, wieviel RAM Adblock so schluckt, wenn es als Browser-Extension läuft. NextDNS ist mir ohnehin sympathischer.

Einen neuen Mac nicht aus dem Backup zu installieren, ist ein sehr reinigendes Gefühl und man kann nochmals über jede App, die man installiert, nachdenken.

(Warum ich den Office-Dreck gerade installiere, weiss ich aber auch nicht.)

Neuen Dokumentenscanner gekauft. Aber es belustigt schon, das Fujitsu in 2023 noch diese Kabel nutzt. USB-C wäre schon eher die Erwartung gewesen.

Nach ca zwei Monaten möchte ich #Kagi als Suchmaschine nicht mehr missen und bis auf Kleinigkeiten bin ich sehr zufrieden. (Ca 400 Suchen/Monat).

Die Relevanz und Qualität der Ergebnisse ist durchweg treffender als bei Google oder DDG, dabei helfen auch Optionen zur Konfiguration, Strukturierung oder dem Zusammenfassen von Websites.

Mit Kagi führen meine Suchen deutlich schneller zum Ziel — das ist ausschlaggebend und mir letztlich den Zehner im Monat wert.

Ich suche einen (möglichst) Homekit-fähigen CO2- und Feinstaub-Sensor für zuhause.

Feinstaub-Sensoren gibts viele, aber ich hätte gerne alles in einem Paket.

Eve Room misst kein CO2, Der "Qingping Air Monitor Lite" ist leider auch durchgefallen (gab's zuletzt für 70EUR).

Speaking of office supplies... I have been longing for this tape dispenser for three years.

It's perfect. I saw it in a ink blogger's photo shoot, tracked the brand down. It's sold at this German department store that seems like? Muji/Ikea but German?

Just suck it up and pay the shipping, you say? Not possible. No one sells or ships this to the US. I keep waiting for one of the fancy shops to pick it up... they never do.

So if you know someone tell them. Stock this.
