For those who don’t live here, you don’t need a car to get most places- ESPECIALLY in Manhattan which is entirely covered by subways (the outer boroughs are an afterthought). The only people driving into Manhattan are local businesses (who get an exception iirc) and the rich who refuse to take public transit.

Unfortunately it’s basically impossible to have an EV in the city unless you own your home or can pay $700+/mon for a garage, and ~90% of residences here are owned by corporations

Almost a dozen Republican states have straight up made it illegal to do RCV. They’re quick to add THAT to their state constitution, but delay, stall, and block any attempt to secure people’s health

We could arrest their leaders, raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news.

I understand homophobia but I don’t understand why they expect me to accept them shoving it in my face constantly. Can’t they keep their homophobic thoughts in the bedroom?
