Today I officially resigned all my positions and we signed the ownership transfer.
I am practically out of the company now, one month of grace period left so I can help out if needed. After that it’s off to new adventures :-)

I started using rss only for my news, media (and YouTube) consummation about a month ago. Turns out, I spent way less time on the web now. Has really been a nice experience. The only issue I had so far, was that @kev did something to his blog, that changed the rss link….
All in all, I wonder why I stopped using rss a while back…

the state of #Apple #Safari browser is just embarrassing, I have tried living with it again and there are so many sites that don't properly work with it. All of them fine on firefox and chrome btw, so no, it is not the website....

#Safari is the true successor to internet explorer...

One week into the new job. I decided I wanted to work with the developers first, so I would get a good feeling for the product prior to deciding on how to sell it. First thing I learned is, I am the worst C# developer ever.
Second: I am even worse than that.

Despite my regular maintenance of my beloved bezzera magica (espresso machine) it died again. Called the servicecenter and they told me repair if it just flipped the fuse by turning on would be about 1000€ at least.

But here is what I love about these classic espresso machines. You can take them apart completely. Turns out the heater died of rust. Ordered a new one for 69€ and now I only have to wait and put it back together once it's here. #DIYrepair

Since iOS 17 my Phone is giving me a lot of trouble, calls dropping, needing to reboot multiple times a day because something crashes and prevents me to start calls, when on carplay while driving I get exactly 30 minutes per call until it crashes and I can only pick the phone up from the gloves compartment and hold it to my ear if I want to continue the call (which is illegal in Austria). I have had it.
Just ordered a #FairPhone5

Yesterday I learned, that my sister and her husband order one of these dna test kits. I strongly urged her not to give away her dna to a random company give all the latest data breaches and so forth. Had no luck convincing her...

I am currently searching for data breaches like the one on 23andme to send her news articles.

Any hints would be appreciated
