MIT Press maintains a set of their books that are listed as "Open Access", and of them, 297 different books and documents provide a helpful PDF edition of their titles.

I have "ported" these over to the Internet Archive where they live a life and have links back to their original MIT Press pages should you want to buy a hard copy:

Just occurred to me that making the billionaire-killing mini-sub out of carbon fiber made no sense at all. Carbon fiber's virtue is its strength to weight ratio. You use carbon fiber when weight is the important factor. When you don't care about weight, good old steel is stronger, less brittle, more durable, and much, much cheaper.

So I added a file-system in config.scm (as the only change) and reconfigure the system.

Then #Guix downloads 614MB worth of packages ... which all have been installed before.

Not so sure how sustainable that is for the Savannah GNU infrastructure.

sharedmuffins,

@louis I don't think that large download affects GNU Savannah infrastructure, because pre-built binaries are downloaded from "substitute servers" (https://ci.guix.gnu.org and https://bordeaux.guix.gnu.org by default).

Nextcloud looks like a pain to upgrade over the long term. I prefer to use Radicale and Syncthing instead.

Will Btrfs cause FreeBSD to lose market share?
