Oh boy, there seems to be little mess going on in camp .
Since an update a few days ago my Time watch won't pair with my 6 via .
At first I thought it's me being stupid but it's actually a common problem.
Happening to devices of all kinds (also cars) and is discussed here:

TIL Jellyfin music player app Finamp is on a beta channel working on a big UI and UX overhaul.
The app is finally going to be a decent music player with better presentation, better navigation and useful context menus. I dig alot! 🥳
I'll share some examples, see alt text for details.

New Now playing overlay shows the current playing position and allows direct "hearting".
Artist view has changed. First a list of top songs, albums below sorted by year ascending.
Context menu on an album with useful actions for a music player. The old context menu doesn't work very well and is rather useless.

TIL gofundme.com as a donation platform acts rather inappropriate (IMHO, for a donation platform) when collecting donations.
Of course, as a platform they have to make a living. So with every donation they collect a fee of ca. 3% plus about 25 cents. That's all.
But when you donate you don't get this info. They rather tell you there service has a 0% platform fee (true) and ask for additional platform support (defaulting to 16% of your donation).

I think this has a lot of smell to it.

I found out about gofundme's behaviour while donating to friends in trouble.
Rebecca and Elmar live on small German island Helgoland, have a four year old daughter. He is 36 years old (or rather young in the context) and has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
With lots of luck he has about 7 years to live and to support him and their upcoming years of health struggle Rebecca started a donation.

Of course you don't need to add a platform support amount to your donation. They take their share in the background.
Also, our friends already reached their goal of 50000€ in a few days. Which is more than amazing.
Still I'm sure they might need a lot more financial backup for the time to come.
Life on Helgoland is complicated and expensive enough, even without having a small child and cancer in final stadium...

Does anyone here have an opinion on the newly recorded Paradise Lost classic album "Icon"?

Just realised they did a completely new recording with new artwork, 30 years later.
I wonder, if it's worth buying.

One of my favorite features of the @moshidon and @megalodon apps: multi-account support with long-pressing post actions!

This means I can browse with an alternate account, like a brand account or whatever, and reply, boost, or favorite things with my personal account. It’s great!

Fedilab supports most of it, too. Except the "browse with" functionality, but I currently don't see a big use case for this. Follow/unfollow, boost, star, bookmark all support multi accounts. Nice features both apps have!
