Why is it that almost every phonecall that I receive on my landline is an attempt to scam me?

Would my government not be concerned for my welfare enough to make an actual effort to do what governments of course do, act in the interests of the people in a manner that only they can do?

@peterrelph Haven't had a landline in 15 years.. I very much appreciate my iPhone's option to block all calls from numbers that aren't in my addressbook. (In my country you can opt-out to unsollicited phone calls and it's illegal for companies to ignore that)

I've been using the Phanpy web-interface for Mastodon for a while now, and I really like it.

You can go to https://phanpy.social/ and sign in with your Mastodon account. It has a nice layout, multi-column view, and a new feature: Catch-up.

It's also very nice to use on mobile (as PWA).
And I also tested with and so far seems to work as well.

This is the catch-up page for the last 8 hours for me, you can filter and group as you wish.
For catch-up you can select the timerange you want to catch up to

Ooh just saw they're building a V4 supercharger at the McDo just around the corner..
I normally charge at home (solar power) but sometimes I forget or need to quickly charge so this is really convenient.

(FYI, in NL all EVs can charge at a Tesla supercharger)

@humanhorseshoes At the moment owners of electric cars pay less tax than petrol cars, to stimulate people to buy EV.

Normally cars are taxed by their weight so I guess in the end EV’s will be taxed more than petrol cars because they are heavier..

Now I got an e-mail notifying me of a 54% price increase for Google Workspace.
Immediately got myself a @protonmail subscription and will be migrating today...
