    @daniel I more or less decided I'm never buying one of those "suit" things again. I have no idea what I'd do at the next wedding/funeral/insert event here. But I think I'd still prefer that uncomfortable feeling over the stupidity feeling of buying a suit.

    @dave I’m in no position to confirm anything, but my 2c: given specifications, the only real difference the Max makes is in the graphics department. I'd say that if you're heavily into that (Metal?), go for the Max, otherwise a Pro is more or less the same (with extra cash for that mortgage).
    I'll also add that the 32GB of RAM I have are nice, but even on heavy Xcode compiling it's rare for me to go beyond 16GB. I'd still go 32, for future proofness alone.
    I'll add that Mini Pro is tempting!
