@info hello! https://bus.emf.camp seems to be broken. The live data is garbage and overwriting the schedule data.

Edit: live data says next bus 0922... After the 1030.

Fuck me sideways, I think the barryc-ro 2003 RISC OS code drop includes the source code for a Winmodem DSP...! Need to check when I get home. This might lead to a 56k Asterisk soft modem, albeit a slightly illicit one.

@drfootleg @gadgetoid @gsuberland I can think of much safer sources to use than a liberated chunk of Am241 many times stronger than a smoke detector... You need very little radiation to make a cloud chamber work, and less is usually better. A bead of uranium glass or glazed pottery might work. Refer to the safety notes for those before buying them, though.

@fsphil Probably similarly to the CuTEL phone system. Trunk cable from the headend to the first DK, then on to each other DK in the chain. Each DK would need a tap and multiport launch amplifier with a power source for the amp. Though in theory DC bias on the trunk cable should run the amp.
