A horror host movie show, and it's the BEST.

Joe Bob Briggs and Darcy the Mail Girl introduce and play two movies, and pop up during occasional breaks to discuss the movie and the talent involved, and it ROCKS.

It's on Shudder, and it's well worth the subscription there alone!

Heh, what can I say? I saw it at the drive-in theater, so I'm particularly nostalgic for it. It's some solid fun at points, too.

Besides, I can't watch Jaws QUITE yet. I gotta build up to that.

Aw, man... you are in for some awesome stuff!

The one everyone raves about - and rightly so - is Heat. FANTASTIC heist thriller with a dynamite cast headed up by Pacino and De Niro (their diner scene, the first one they shared, is really something).

My personal favorite is The Insider, which is about a tobacco industry whistleblower who finds himself in the middle of an effort to discredit him when he tries to get his findings on 60 Minutes. Terrific all the way around with Russell Crowe giving his arguably best performance. It gets my vote for 1999's best film. No small feat in a year of films THAT good.

And then there's Collateral, which is endlessly, impossibly cool with Tom Cruise as a contract killer forcing cabbie driver Jamie Foxx to take him to his appointed killings.

Ali is divisive, but honestly, I dug it. No film was ever gonna get close to approximating the real legend of Muhammad Ali, but it's sharp enough aye.
