@joesbrat67 Well, for comparison, most other Fediverse softwares are in the range of 10-20%. For example, 16% of Mastodon's total users are active monthly, 5% of Misskey, 10% of Pixelfed, etc. according to https://fedidb.org/software . So Calckey at 48% is quite high. Part of that is due to newness (calckey is less than a year old, another even newer software kbin which was only created within the last month or two has a figure of 99% right now). But other factors besides newness definitely come into play (even though mastodon itself is six years old, the big influx of users in November has hugely dropped off in terms of active users by Jan/Feb). For Calckey, I expect part of its success is how many additional features it has including some (like emoji reactions and MFM) that are just for fun, and help keep the community engaged. โ€‹:calckey:โ€‹ โ€‹:fediverse:โ€‹

@hnb An au pair is basically a live-in nanny, usually an immigrant from another country, who thus is easier to exploit and pay a lower wage to.

@cedled and I noticed that whenever we like/star a Mastodon post from Calckey it doesn't show up on Mastodon. But whenever we like something from Mastodon it shows up in our Calckey notifications. Strange.

@cedled @pixiecata I know in Mastodon you can filter your notifications, might you possibly have turned off notifications for favorites? I know I had gone into my preferences and turned off quantitative stats on posts (like number of favorites) so I just re-enabled that for this test.

@cedled @pixiecata not as far as I can tell. both the star and emoji reactions on calckey show up for me as a star on mastodon. what I was suggesting is that maybe you had tweaked your masto settings in the past? Either your notification filters or your preferences might affect how they show up there. Here are two screenshots (from tusky, my mastodon app, but I think it works similarly on other clients)

@cedled @pixiecata Just a suggestion of a possible cause. I could certainly be wrong. Things do work differently from server to server and client to client...

Seriously, on your Android or iPhone, go to your Home timelineโ€”then swipe right!

@atomicpoet the downside of this for me is that, if I'm trying to swipe up to scroll through a single feed, but my swipe is ever so slightly diagonal, it will move me to a different feed and when I return I've lost my place in the feed I was trying to scroll through! ๐Ÿฅด

I know I'm late to the party, but I've been really getting into RuPaul's Drag Race this winter/spring. Started watching season 1 in January, and just finished the last season I can find on streaming (last year, 14) just now.
