has anyone, in the history of websites and apps, ever found a chatbot useful? when they were powered by humans? what more with random gibberish with AI agents? i don't understand why that is groundbreaking

@skinnylatte I was absolutely shocked yesterday after a website chat with LegalZoom support that actually solved my problem in a quick and efficient manner (pretty sure it was a legit human on the other end, not a bot). I half expected it to be a cruel customer service joke, but this morning I got email confirmation of the problem being solved, and when I checked the documentation, 💫

@skinnylatte A trompo-under-a-test recently appeared in the liquor store parking lot around the corner from me in Oakland. They’re pressing their own tortillas and it’s AMAZING. (Seven Seas Liquors, MacArthur & Ardley, Glenview)

Just picked up a #RicohGRiii. Haven’t had the chance to get out with it yet, but here’s a test shot from a quiet corner in the house. Straight out of the camera, just slightly cropped and straightened. Not bad.

@skinnylatte I’ve been shooting film all year on a manual rangefinder and was initially a little thrown off by the interface and operation of the GR, but I think I’ve gotten the hang of it. We’ll see how I do with it when I’m out shooting in the world 😬🤞🏻
