And these are the before and after pictures of the cast metal frame. I used deoxit and an old cloth and cotton buds to remove the dirt and cover the metal at the same time with the deoxit, which usually gives a very thin coating that will protect the metal. Smells horribly though. :)
I think I will need to lube the top and bottom ball bearings of the spindle. The top one I can reach easily. For the bottom one I probably have to unmount the flywheel, but I don't want to...

Hat vielleicht noch jemand eine MOS 8501 CPU für den über? Die hier wurde vom Vorgänger bei einem Reparaturversuch falsch herum auf den Sockel gesteckt und ist dabei gestorben. Das Gerät soll weiter leben.

@root42 Ich hab einen in der Bucht geschossen. Er sollte diese Woche noch ankommen. Mit 45€ zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber das Gerät soll erhalten bleiben und irgendeine Aufgabe im Hackerspace bekommen. Wir haben für die CPU mit ein paar Leuten zusammengelegt.

@33dBm @root42 Die FPGAs sind aber wahrscheinlich sehr teuer. Wenn wir ne 6502 einbauen, können wir das Ding aber nicht mehr als C16 benutzen.

@steamdeckhq Do you know if it is somehow possible to prevent the #Steamdeck from taking control over the connected Keyboard? When I launch #DwarfFortress via Steam, I am unable to type in the game. Only some shortcuts are working. When I launch the game outside of Steam (yes, that works), the kb works as expected. I tried different controller configs without success.

Hallo Bubble, hab ne Frage zum ersten Pairing bei ner neuen Amazfit GTR mini.
Da brauch ich ja den PairingKey und muss mich dazu einmal mit der HerstellerApp (hier: Zepp) anmelden. Kann ich das von einem Test-Smartohone aus machen und den PairingKey dann in gadgetbridge auf mein Alltagshandy übertragen oder muss ich die Zepp App für die Erstanmeldungsprozedur direkt auf dem Alltagshandy installieren? Das geht aus der Beschreibung der Webseite nicht so genau hervor

@gadgetbridge @sim_77 Ich hab Zepp mit Neobackup gesichert und recover die App ab und zu mal, um die FW zu aktualisieren. Danach wird sie sofort wieder deinstalliert.

Leute, die unnötig lange die paar wenigen öffentlichen Schnellader blockieren, kotzen mich so an. Normalerweise muss dort niemand länger als 15min laden, um auf 80% zu kommen. So wird sich nie durchsetzen.

@derthomas Das kommt noch oben drauf. Ich war im Sommer mit dem E-Auto in Holland. Da gab es in jedem Kaff Ladesäulen. Und hinter jeder Tankstelle waren Schnelllader. Was soll man denn mit den paar 22kW AC Ladesäulen anfangen? Die sind total sinnlos.

@gnulinux Die Nextcloud App unter Android funktioniert bei mir sehr unzuverlässig. Sehr oft gibt es irgendwelche unerklärliche Synckonflikte, wo eine Reparatur sehr mühsam ist. Ein Autosync, was für Keepass usw. nützlich wäre, ist nicht möglich. DAVx5, Notes und News funktionieren super.
Wenn man in Nextcloud die Notes App verwendet, lassen sich in Evolution auch die Notizen syncen. Da gibt es noch Verbesserungsbedarf, aber es funktioniert soweit schon mal.

Designed my first using , to learn how to use it. It's for a plant watering system.

Although, I'll need to learn more about PCB design before actually making one - especially EMI, as I had issues with that on a stripboard version. I'll also need to select components, maybe it would make sense to use more 1206 SMD
