@thisismyglasgow do you have a picture of the Masonic hall on Dumbarton Road? I used to admire that when I'd pass on the bus. The symbols carved into the stone was really well done

@thisismyglasgow it's on the same side as the Victoria bar, on the city centre side. If I remember rightly it's not far from the underground (but on the opposite side of the road). You wouldn't ordinarily notice it on the street as it's above shop fronts etc

Once Pittsburgh signed Russell Wilson, Pickett preferred to move on.

@trebach @nfl @emarktaylor it seems strange to cast out Pickett after only 2 years. He had a solid, if rather unspectacular, couple of seasons. Wilson is around 36 so he's not the long term answer and he hasn't looked good since leaving the Seahawks.

Thanks so much for the gracious shout-out on #TuxJam 107.
I'd also like to "pimp out" a notetaking app I really love: #Simplenote.

It handles its own syncing and supports displaying notes as markdown. It has an excellent native Mac OS X app (for those still in pris—COUGH that particular ecosystem), an ok Electron app, a web interface, and there is an alternate (kinda ugly, tbh) python GUI (nvpy) and excellent CLI app sncli that uses whatever $EDITOR you like.

We’re having a great winter here in and it’s 22F / -6C. My type of weather, of course all the buzz today is in Baltimore. I ain’t a fan 🐦‍⬛ but I still wish them luck since they represent the Old Line State. The whole state is gonna stop functioning at 4:30pm ET. 😁 .. of course I’ll be watching while being occupied.
