I just updated https://jws.dev: I added my "Vue Offline Boilerplate" to the projects page

I wrote this app as a common "starter app" for 2-3 other apps that I have kicking around in my head. It uses:

  • Vue 3 and the Composition API
  • Pinia
  • The vite-plugin-pwa plugin
  • Firebase Authentication
  • Firebase Cloud Firestore
  • Bulma
  • Gravatar (for a fall-back profile icon option)

This app will probably remain in a private GitHub repo but its offspring will likely be public.

I got the "Your current Legacy Pro plan is becoming Pro+. You will have access to new features such as multi-account support, increased rate limits, and priority customer support." email from #IFTTT. I sent them a reply asking if I could just stay on my current plan. They are still less expensive than #Pipedream but more expensive than running a node script on a raspberry pi.

Signal introduced usernames so that you no longer need to know the user's cellphone number. I created a username and added a link to my profile to the site.

Ok, I stood up my own Microsoft Entra tenant to get "Login with Microsoft" working but now I need to figure out the #firebase error "auth/account-exists-with-different-credential". I think that linkWithPopup (https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/web/account-linking) might be the key, here. :blobcatthink:

If you go to https://boilerplate.jws.app/login, you can use "Login with Google" and then "Link with Microsoft Account" so that you can log in using either. If you click "Login with Microsoft" and then click on "Link with Google Account" it seemingly just converts it to a Google account instead, though and I'm not sure the reason why. :blobcatthink:
