what awful yet good luck

taking off my mask after exiting the metro, I accidentally pulled either my hand or the elastic against one of my earrings.
(These earrings are pulled out in two parts, front of ear lobe, and from the back.)

So the front of the earring shoots off somewhere on the sidewalk, at night.
BY SOME LUCKY CHANCE, I managed to find it in a crevice between sidewalk sections.

Now to sort out sanitizing the piece
for now I've medical taped the other part to my ear...

hi so I'm coming out now as #trans. I started male-to-female HRT recently. I have changed my name and pronouns displayed on my account here to Jessie, and She/They.

I will eventually migrate to a new instance as per this Mastodon issue, changing usernames is not possible...

Maxi sells a combo pack which includes a Potato and Onion perogie, but there's also a bunch of other ones with cream/cheese or otherwise!

I visited Toronto back in 2017, and as part of my visit stopped by A-1 Electronic Parts on a tip from a friend, looking for some specific retro-PC gear. They had a ton of interesting items, including most notably some IMAX gear and 70mm? trailers. The reel cores that the 70mm prints came on were literally gigantic.
