Running #plan9front in my #thinkpad x280 for this entire year is going to be distractionless and super productive workstation. I dinnae miss the browser at all. Also I'm learning tons of new #computing things. There is no way back. Thank you to every single person and to the developers for this amazing experience. #plan9

@sirjofri I do the same, for quick searches I'm using the mobile browser. Also I am a user so it makes sense to use it under as is more convenient.

@sirjofri yeah, but that's the current evolution of the net (and economics, sadly). I miss the old times of the web (mid-90s) and for me the current state of the web is a big mess, not saying rubbish 😕

I'm unable to fix my #oneplus6 with the Windows tools. I can install the #qualcomm driver and the device is detected by windows but not in the msm tool (wrong COM port) so I can't reinstall #postmarketos nor the original #firmware. Any advice? I don't want to buy another phone again 😕

How to learn #ed #editor the hard way: I accidentally broke the /etc/fstab file and vi was not available at the time because I messed up the root partition.

Never underestimate the power of this text editor (and always check the correct syntax of an fstab file).
