@mikey Honestly, I'd apply in a heartbeat if I thought the salary/benefits were anywhere near my requirements at this stage in my career. It is a cool company with a pretty cool, innovative founder. This email was written by a salesperson more in the Gen-Z or Gen-Y range.

@mikey I'm glad things work the way they're supposed to when it happens but it definitely is still unnerving. I've had so many different account info breaches from various places it doesn't phase me too much anymore. Getting the major identity theft stuff sorted from an unemployment scam in 2020 during peak COVID shutdown was a major pain in the behind though.

@mikey Pretty good now. The biggest lingering effect is probably a good one in that I keep our credit agency reports all locked down. It's a hassle to unfreeze when we do have to apply for something (I borked my last phone upgrade forgetting to "thaw" my credit for a couple days first) but it does keep things safer overall for new id theft.
