Don't know how I did it. Managed to smack myself in the face with the car door. Big bruise and cut on forehead, and a swollen nose (not broken). Look like I've done a few rounds with both Klitschko brothers.

Why is dancing such a polarising activity between the sexes?

All my female friends love dancing. Going out dancing is a thing for them.

At best, my male friends will tolerate dancing, because it is a means to get closer to potential partners. Literally, being dragged onto the dance floor at social occasions is a thing.

Of course, there are some males who like dancing. In my experience they are the excption.

Also in my experience, my female friends have an innate love of dancing. Females aren't taught to express themselves through dance either. Furthermore, watching dance (including ballet) is much more a female pursuit.

I'm quite emotional, and not afraid to show it. Same for many of my friends. Never feel the need to express it through dance.

My observations suggest there is definitely a male/female split. Whether it is biological or cultural I can't say. Personally, I never feel the need to dance, except when in a romantic pursuit. 😃

I like being emotionally expressive. I do it in lots of ways. I have many cultural interests. However, I just don't care for dancing, never have. That doesn't make me emotionally repressive.

The photo is of Stob Dearg, one of the Buachaille Èite Mòr peaks, in Gleann Èite.

The peak only has the, very recognisable, pointy appearance when viewed from the north-east side.
