Ayer hice horchata con gardenias. Rica pero no tan espectacular como me la imaginaba. La receta era de una horchata normal (arroz, canela y azúcar) y al final se le ponían pétalos. Son flores comestibles entonces sí sabía rico tomar y masticar algunos pétalos. El plus es que eran pétalos de mi jardín entonces no tenían químicos 😊 #comidonte #foodie #HomeMade

Looking at this figure, one pattern that I see is that nationals of a country loves their own food (French people love French food, Thai people loves Thai food and so on). This makes sense to me because people love flavors that brings back nice memories. I would have loved to see food preferences of Latin American people and not just how Latin American food is perceived by other countries.

Hoy le contaba a unos biólogos mexicanos que el nuevo gobierno tico quiere cambiar el modelo de país. Que ya no vamos a ser modelo de conservación, de bonos de carbono y pago de servicios ambientales sino de explotación minera, petrolera y cultivo de piña 😪 No me creyeron y dijeron que era pésima apuesta para un país tan chiquito y con todo montado en lo de país verde. Y tienen razón. Es totalmente absurdo. Así las cosas 😭😭

I want to start using Open Street Maps. Do you have a good recommendation of an app to visualize and map in the platform? It might be two apps as well, I've never used it before.

Me encanta la diversidad de acentos que se ve en este mapa, pero me estresa que parece haber sido hecho por pedazos: la leyenda está regada por todo el mapa y los colores no muestran afinidades de algun tipo en todo el mapa. El acento del centro de CR se parece al acento de Bogotá (Col) por ejemplo.
