Kennt jemand eine Anwendung zum Aufteilen von Geheimnissen, Stichwort digitales Erbe?
Frei nach dem Motto: wenn ich draufgehe, soll ein ausgewählter Personenkreis die Puzzleteile zusammenlegen & mit Personenzahl x kommt man dann an das Passwort für Keepass?

Aus den 70ern gibts Shamirs Secret Sharing, aber auf anhieb finde ich nicht viele Anwendungen, die das implementieren.

Kann einer von euch einen guten OpenWRT Router gebrauchen? Ich verkaufe meinen Turris Omnia! Eckdaten: 2 GB RAM, hi-Performance, Open Source & WiFi/NAS/printserver/Virtual Server, CPU 1.6 GHz dual-core, 5X GLAN, 2X USB 3.0. Er ist intern noch um Module erweiterbar, oder eine Festplatte. Weiterhin verfügt er über einen Moduleinschub für zB Glasfaser.

Neupreis war etwas über 300€. Würde gern noch 120€ mit Versand innerhalb DE haben wollen.

As my old NUC was showing its age, and didn't suffice for my #homelab needs anymore, I decided to build a new one. And because I prefer running all my #selfhosted in containers, but abhor fucking around with #docker and docker-compose, it's a single-node #k8s cluster, using #k3s, just like my old server. One big difference is that the new server has a decent amount of drives for storage. I decided to set up #zfs to manage that, and zfs is all it's cracked up to be.

Hey, and bubble. I'm trying to find a way to detect that my phone is charging in the charger next to my bed. On android, the homeassistant app had a sensor that said "charging wirelessly", which I used for that, but the app doesn't seem to have that.

Anyone have any suggestions? Cheers.

I wish we could find a better solution than grub screws for attaching pulleys to shafts in 3D printing. Small-scale requirements make it difficult to use other industrial systems.

Grub screws often loosen under the effect of vibration even with Loctite. They also introduce eccentricity. And the tip of the grub screws marks the shaft, making it difficult to remove the pulley.

Any idea how we could improve this?

@bear_lab @3dprinting Mh. Maybe just cut a thread into Shaft and pulley and secure it with a nut? Personally, I hate these little set screws a lot, too😁

das gebrauchte model y's noch so viel teurer sind als die 3er ärgert mich ja... ich will ja auch lieber was kompakteres - problem ist die heckklappe... und allgemein was und wie man damit transportieren und ggf ziehen kann (naja ziehen ist beim y auch nicht so krass)

oh gott jetzt hab ich im fediverse indirekt sympatisierend von der firma von dem dessen namen nicht gesagt werden darf gesprochen wegrenn

edit: sollte nicht heißen tesla sei die einzige option. andere leider ähnl. teuer wie y

Sadly, I wasn't able to fix all of the flaws (a tendency to explode being the primary one) in my robot, "Footloose", so we won't be competing. However, I'm here at UIUC to cheer on my son Justin and my bouncing 1-lb grand-bot, "Singularity," (pictures below) as well as his team's 30 lb bot "Collosal Avian." The tournament is livestreamed ("Live" link at the "Robobrawl UIUC" YouTube channel) if you want to check it out.

My combat bot, "Footloose" is coming together. I had a lot of problems with the shuffling mechanism due to the 3D printed cams deforming over time. Amazingly, I found a business that could laser cut an aluminum set for me with a 24 hour turnaround, and the locomotion is now much more stable. Weapon is working, (and fun to test!) Now I'm going to add a wedge in the front and figure out how to shave off about 20g overall to make weight. Almost there...

    @phranck PETG geht auch gut und schnell - aber da es eine hohe Dichte hat, braucht es deutlich mehr Hitze und somit mehr Zeit beim Schmelzen. Bei sowas merkt man dann wirklich gut die Leistungsunterschiede verschiedener Hotends - das von Bambu hat ja nur 48 Watt - Da merkt man dann die Grenzen bei diesem Material sehr schnell.
    Andere Hotends mit längerer Meltzone und mehr Dampf sind da für schnelles Drucken von PETG sicherlich besser geeignet - aber hey. Ist immer noch schneller als ein Ender^^

    @phranck Das wird wie bei Prusa sicherlich immer mehr. Ist immer die Frage, ob man da zwingend eine Verbesserung erhält - "schneller höher weiter" ist ja nicht immer gut. Auf meinem Prusa läuft auch nicht mehr deren Firmware, letztlich gibt man für diverse Boni dann aber die Simplicity auf, die das Universum so mit bringt

    Tatsächlich hat zum einen Covid den Prozess extrem verlangsamt, zum anderen dauert im Filmbereich ALLES immer jahrelang, egal ob Skriptentwicklung, Finanzierung oder Produktion. Wer schon mal Making-Ofs gesehen hat von so ziemlich allem, was Disney und Pixar in den letzen 20 Jahren gemacht hat, weiß, dass auch bei hundertprozentigen Vollprofis von der ersten Idee bis zur Premiere eines Films locker ein Jahrzehnt vergehen kann.

    Got my rainy day activity lined up for the afternoon. Inspired by @alpenglow 's adorable WS2812 pillow (on right in images), I sewed my own version as a crossbody bag that can convert to a mini backpack. Today's goal is to install a controller and functional LEDs into both projects.

    The same image as the previous picture except the crossbody bag has been flipped over to show the four D-ring attachments on top and bottom that allow it to be converted to a mini backpack.
    Same as the other pictures but a hand is holding the bag open to show a purple fabric lining.

    @beandev Ich bin großer Fan von PM Filament - gibts in verschiedenen Shops, auch 3djake.
    3dprima.com ist auch ein sehr zuverlässiger Shop, gibt dort vieles oftmals etwas günstiger, insbesondere Nozzles.

    Ansonsten kann ich noch Redline empfehlen - sehr gleichmäßige und gute Qualität.
