I recently received cans of the latest #NonAlcoholicBeer from California-based #BestDayBrewing, a Mexican style lager with lime and sea salt, Electro-Lime Cerca de Cerveza. This new NA brew joins Best Day’s core lineup which consists of Kölsch-Style, West Coast IPA, and Hazy IPA.

I hope everyone had a very safe and merry #Christmas yesterday! I started the day out with a Cinnamon Roll #cider from #PortlandCiderCompany, a spiced cider that the company sent me. Paired with an actual cinnamon roll, I found it semi sweet and subtly spicy and a great way to start the holiday. Cheers!

For #NationalLagerDay, I've opened up a bottle of Barrel Aged Standhope #Doppelbock from #SawtoothBrewery of Idaho. There's a lot going on in this beer, which was aged in Pinot noir whiskey barrels, and is 8% alcohol by volume. Cheers!

My latest article for the local paper takes a look at the newest in the Coolship Experiment beer series from #CruxFermentationPorject, Crux Coolship Experiment No. 6. Crux teamed up with #RogueCreamery of southern Oregon to brew a #lambic style ale in which the same microorganisms used to create Rogue’s #BlueCheese were used to inoculate the wort.

Last week, the announced the results of its competition, the judging for which took place over two different sessions in Oregon and Washington. Judges evaluated 219 fresh hop beers from 91 breweries, which is a lot of fresh hop beer to have in one place.
