The Israel lobby is attempting to indoctrinate Americans that the context for the October 7 attack is the Holocaust. This is a misrepresentation. The Palestinians had nothing to do with the Holocaust.

O "caso ADN" é igual ao "caso PCTP/MRPP" que sempre tirou votos à CDU. A culpa é da campanha do PSD que brincou com o branding do partido... E dos eleitores distraídos, demasiado para voltarem em quem queriam.

Conclusão: o PSD perdeu mais votos para o ADN do que os votos que ganhou com CDS e PPM à custa de vários deputados 😆 enfim, péssimo negócio e querem governar.

@nadav "1944" won Eurovision, not so long ago the Moldovan song questioned if Moldova and Romania were 1 or 2 countries, the Dutch song this year is about the European Union.. and? Music should reflect the debates and topics the society cares for.

Chinese police officers may soon be patrolling the streets of Hungary

According to an agreement reached by Hungarian Minister of Interior, Sándor Pintér and China's Minister for Public Safety in mid-February, Hungarian and Chinese police officers will soon begin patrolling together in some locations in Hungary. The German paper Welt had earlier reported that following a recent agreement, Chinese police officers will soon appear in Hungarian cities.

@Loukas I find it tragic that so many people want to remove a country that just suffered a horrible pogrom and it's still trying to release hostages being kept under inhumane conditions for months, subject to torture and rape. Israel's counterattack is more scrutinized than any other war on earth, and there are plenty to chose from. Turkey has been doing the same in Iraq and Syria and no one cares. #NoJewsNoNews

@Loukas Ah that would be more consequent. But I believe in the positive influence of Eurovision in dictatorships. In fact they fear it, Turkey and Hungary already dropped due to that.. so.. let Eurovision shine a light.

@Loukas i think the only country where the same logic could apply is Azerbaijan, which attacked a fellow Eurovision nation. But even there, there are significant differences to the full on unprovoked invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Comparing the Ukraine war to the pogrom of October 7th and consequent war is simply not valid. And let's remind that the situation in Gaza is indeed a war, with two sides fighting. One of the sites his holding women and children hostages.

@Loukas Eurovision is not a court house. Israel didn't start a war, it was dragged into it. This has no similarity whatsoever with the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

@Loukas Eurovision should not have countries participating that are invading countries participating, it's not supposed to be a battled field. That's why Russia should and is excluded from participating.

When France and the UK attacked Lybia nobody suggested an Eurovision ban, for example.
