@beisbolcards A fediverse league would be cool. My only fantasy sports experience was football for a couple years around 2009/2010 lol. I like to do Out of the Park Baseball though
A's took me a while. Was Canseco actually an MVP? Foxx? Reggie?
John Denny had been on my waiting list.
Looked a list of 1983 players and Alfredo Griffin rung a bell, so I checked his stars once I discarded him. When I saw he started his career for the Indians immediately thought of Eck for the final piece.
Players who would've fit on any team square: Manny Trillo, Doug Jones, Horacio Piña and Tim Worrell.
@beisbolcards I got to use 2 more of my birthday guys (too many backup catchers) plus a couple of oddball Rangers. Surprised so many went with Palmeiro for Cubs, but glad I didn’t gamble on Hornsby there (only 2.930 hits).
This is why I can't have nice things. Thought either the late Darryl Kile or Mike Hampton would have 200K, but they were way short. Borrowed Al Oliver since someone always mentions him, and had been looking to pencil in VanderWal for a while.
In the early/mid 80's saw a medieval adventure film on TV that I'd like to identify.
In the scene I remember there were winged gargoyle-like creatures standing eerily idly on a hill in the forest. A kid running through crashed into one that had its wings open, and then closed them to eat him.
If it rings a bell, I'd like to find out which movie that was.
Daniel, seen here almost a year ago, is currently in the cat hospital with respiratory issues - probable pneumonia or heart issues.
His hooman had to leave and a guy took him in. Was asked how old he is but I met him as an adult a couple of years ago.
He's very friendly, even when he fought other cats and meows a lot. He was recently neutered and am keeping tabs on him to make sure he's not a stray again.
No offense to the kitten I'm fostering but I'd gladly trade for him.
