I've spent the last 10 months learning #Rust. Great language, very nice concepts, loved it.

But I really don't have any practical application for it in my current (or foreseeable future) work.

What should I play with next? #Nim or #Golang ?

Sorte do dia: você não tinha voo no aeroporto de Floripa hoje

@augustocc Mês passado eu estava em Vilnius, Lituânia pegando um voo para casa quando o avião quebrou (a roda simplesmente saiu!) na pista de decolagem, e não podia ser rebocado.

O resultado foi um aeroporto complemente fechado pelo resto do dia, dezenas de voos cancelados.

Quando isso acontece em aeroporto pequeno é sempre um caos.

🕹️ Na data de hoje, mas em 2013, foi lançado o 'console open source' Ouya, que prometeu muito, arrecadou 1 milhão de dólares no Kickstarter em menos de 8 horas, mas aí entregou um produto cujas limitações comprometiam o seu potencial e não teve fôlego para decolar.

@augustocc Eu comprei um. Pior controle que já usei mas minha vida. E o console então... não se fala.

Isso para rodar emulador de SNES e como media player.

On a parallel now: during the sinking of the Titanic, the great majority of the deaths were from passengers from lower classes, who were denied access the upper deck where the lifeboats were located.

I like how it describes typing at a high level, in terms of static vs. dynamic typing, structural vs. nominal typing.
