Biden’s asylum ban is cruel and exactly contrary to what he ran on when he condemned Trump for banning asylum.
I don’t know how to get Democrats in power to understand that embracing Republican policies won’t flip Republican voters. Whether it’s on bloated defense spending, police militarization, gutting social services, or restriction immigration—you cannot out racist elected Republicans.
There are some astounding parallels between Dems and U.K. Labour party:

"There is a frustration with voters concerned that the [Labour] party does not have a sufficiently leftwing agenda because, well, have you seen the other guys? ...

Call me crazy, but I think it should be easy to vote for the party that DOESN'T shoot puppies, attack the US Capitol, make it illegal to give water to people waiting to vote, loosen child labor laws, torpedo bipartisan bills to strengthen border security, block military promotions, and is led by a man who spends his days combatting felony criminal charges and ducking legal accountability for fraud, sexual battery, and defamation.

If being a mature voter means saying that "only" one genocide is not disastrous but merely a little disappointing, then color me disillusioned but I'd rather be an immature voter. An election platform of "probs less genocides then the other guy" counts as a red flag for me.
