@mythologymonday @AimeeMaroux I'd read variations of a Thai poetic saga about the prince Phra Aphai Mani. At one point he'd been seduced by a hideous giantess who disguised herself as a beautiful woman. When he realized the truth, he fled and was assisted by a family of merfolk. Unfortunately, the giantess got her hands on the mother and father merfolk, who met their end in a brutal fashion.

@BeAware Yes, that is the joke. The joke is that the icon is of an upraised fist, a symbol of strength and rebellion, but the fist has the wrong number of fingers. AI art notoriously features the wrong number of fingers. The joke is that the supporters (people who are in support of something) of AI are raising malformed, wrong-fingered fists in support of their cause. The prima facie joke is the error; the second, ironic layer is that supporters (people who support) AI wouldn't be aware of this.

#Stripe canceled my WordPress account when they discovered I write erotica. I lost my subscribers due to their action.

Later, I saw that they brokered the transfer of $7000 in Twitter ad revenue to known white supremacist DC_Draino.

I wrote to ask why they censored consensual sex literature but had no problem enabling bigotry and sedition. Stripe said they'd investigate and get back to me in 15 days with an answer.

It's been 90 business days with no response. I've reminded them five times.

Called them out on Xitter.

#Stripe only reiterated their boilerplate: "We apologise for not having responded to you earlier. However, as mentioned in the Prohibited and Restricted Businesses here: https://stripe.com/en-gb-ca/legal/restricted-businesses, Adult content is prohibited as per these conditions."

They did not address the fact that they're supporting white supremacy. I looked in their policy, and I couldn't find anything that said they wouldn't do business with bigots.

I searched for any podcasts that mentioned #giantess or #macrophilia and found a lot of one-off episodes from various shows. The worst were morning talk shows who guffaw at weird shit; the best were candid sex talk podcasts about porn and sexual health.

To be fair, I've also listened to other of their episodes, to get a sense of the show. That doesn't always work out: I've subjected myself to some traumatic-ass shit, in the name of education and open-mindedness. I don't know how to manage this.

Can't anyone around where I live tell me I've done something good for once? Every day it's "you didn't do this right" or "Hey you posted this too early so update this," or "Hey don't forget to do this or it'll be late" or "hey we request that you do this as soon as possible" or "I need you to do me a favor" but it's something you have to do, thanks haha. Oh hey her's a Chromebook, enjoy haha.

Yeah I need to start looking for a new job before I break and I don't want to know what will happen when I break.
