Watch: Adobe angers artists with new Photoshop terms (techcrunch.com)

Artists got an unpleasant surprise when they opened Photoshop this week, as they were shown a pop-up window asking them to agree to new terms of service. Among the changes: Adobe now says it has the right to access customers’ content through “automated or manual methods.”...

TexasDrunk,

The bolts look good. That’s what I’ll replace my truck with when the time comes. I don’t mind replacing the head unit because I used to do it in every vehicle I had until the latest one. I just have to see how it’s tied together and hope they didn’t do something stupid like tying it to a critical system.

TexasDrunk,

I remember being a teen thinking about beating up an armed robber in a convenience store and saving everyone.

TexasDrunk,

The only person who should care about anything other than the quality is Randall. However since he licensed it CC BY-NC 2.5 how he feels about it doesn’t really matter either.

TexasDrunk,

Oh definitely! I just meant in this particular case.

TexasDrunk,

It was millennials. I know this because I’ve read hundreds of articles blaming them for it.

TexasDrunk,

I never thought I’d see one of Charlie’s blogs posted around Lemmy unless it was about his books. Good to see him getting some recognition.

TexasDrunk,

I’m stable release male but I’m no longer supported so I’ve got security issues and the interface is a bit dated. But the people who used me in my prime still think I’m the best and everything after has been a downgrade.

TexasDrunk,

The “middle class” is currently defined by arbitrary income levels, not purchasing power. Considering the cost of living disparity across the US it’s an absolutely useless measure.

To be in the middle class 50 years ago, you were able to buy a reasonable family house on one income. To do that today if you’re in an area where the cost of living isn’t absolutely bottom of the barrel you’ve got to make what is currently considered “upper middle class” income or slightly above.

Middle class living is relegated to upper middle class incomes while middle and lower middle class have to rent that lifestyle.

TexasDrunk,

We could do worse than having a lil bee representing us.

TexasDrunk,

What in the actual fuck happened there?!?

TexasDrunk,

No, but he may still want to save face. He’s 18. He’ll have to deal with that orange shitbag until a few years into college at least before he can break away.

I’m not saying he’s a good guy. I’m saying we can’t know. Maybe he is rebelling by being a decent human being.

TexasDrunk,

I assume everything is Loss. Even your comment.

TexasDrunk, (edited )

Statement retracted because I’m in the wrong community.

TexasDrunk,

TexasDrunk was drunk and didn’t check the community. Statement has been retracted.

TexasDrunk,

Pornhub set up their geofence. X won’t listen and no one will enforce it.

TexasDrunk,

Doing it at like 8pm. By the time it’s over and you’re done with the reception it’s too late to hop a plane and go on a honeymoon.

TexasDrunk,

I’m glad you came with receipts. I (probably very obviously) both grew up and currently live in the US and this is wild to me. When I was a kid we ran around in the woods on the weekends and when I visited my grandparents we walked to the arcade, corner store, or the grocery store without being hassled.

I see a bunch of kids in my neighborhood playing ball, having Nerf wars, and generally just being kids from the time the spring rain stops until it starts back up again next year. The oldest I’ve seen this year probably isn’t quite old enough to drive yet and the youngest is probably somewhere in the 5-7 range. They’re just out being mild nuisances and having the time of their lives. No one has said a thing.

TexasDrunk,

I don’t really watch a lot of TV, but that certainly sounds like what stays on my TV pretty much all the time to keep the house from being too quiet.

TexasDrunk,

I can respect that, but we were poor as fuck and those cost more than the humble push pop, especially from the ice cream truck. So the push pop beat them out by being the tastiest I could afford to get more than one of and I never really tried those.

I did try the bomb pop because they were dirt cheap at the 4th of July celebrations but they never did it for me the way the push pops did.

TexasDrunk,

I’m in my 40s, so you’re not aging yourself too badly. I could get a couple of push pops for a buck. Anything else decent would cost more than a buck for two.

TexasDrunk,

They did WHAT!?! First they took the Flintstones off the push pops and now this.
