für einen Bekannten bastele ich gerade an einer kleinen Web-App, die die Issues von #GitHub, #GitLab und #Gitea bzw. #Forgejo zusammenführt.

Ziel ist es, Migration von einer Forge zur anderen zu erleichtern.

Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das für Firmen und Open Source-Projekte spannend sein kann.

Frage an euch: wärt ihr bereit, für derartige Arbeiten einen kleinen Obelus zu spenden, damit ich mich auf diese Tätigkeiten fokussieren kann?

Serious question on #ClimateCrise - how's CO2 acting in space?

I read many articles on capturing it & storing it on earth or in the ocean.

But there's always the risk that it could evade again (say, because of a human mistake).

Given so many space missions r planned, would it be possible (ignoring 💲) to release captured CO2 in space? Together w/ ISS missions / satellite deployments?

Has this been a scenario discussed in science circles?

Edit: Short answer is yes, discussed but not worth it

Jetzt kann ich mich schon seit mehr als 24 Stunden nicht mehr auf @threemaapp zugreifen, weil Threema.ch nicht aufgelöst werden könne.

Im Web-Browser geht es.

Hab jetzt auch erfolglos die Threema-Paketquelle zu F-Droid hinzugefügt, ohne eine Änderung vermelden zu können.

Allmählich gehen mir die Ideen aus.

Da bin ich seit Wochen auf der Suche, aber das MIT Technology Review von @heiseonline habe ich noch in keinem Kiosk ausfindig machen können.

Selbst das aufgekaufte t3n ist teilweise schwierig zu bekommen.

Abo lohnt sich für mich nicht, weil mich nicht jede Ausgabe interessiert.

Server migration, troubleshooting:

1. Disk space runs full (ncdu is helpful to spot where to start)
2. Updating packages
3. Forgejo crashes over database
4. Migrated the homepage over
5. Layout and links break

How's your week going?
I managed to address at least the majority of issues by now.

Ich lese bei Smartphone-Reviews ja auch immer wieder, wie doll die Frontkamera nun geworden sei.

Ich bin in einer Generation aufgewachsen, in der noch andere Menschen gebeten wurden, ein Foto aufzunehmen. Wenn überhaupt.

Woher kommt also dieser Trend zu Selfies?

Today I managed to install and configure

• my contacts (vdirsyncer + khard, formerly khal)
• my calendar (calcurse + calcurse-caldav. Might switch to vdirsyncer)
• my mail (offlineimap + neomutt)
• my todo txt (todo.sh)

Not happy with saving credentials in plain text :-(

But I can look into Lua (conky and awesome WM widgets) next!

I can't leave all the fame to Meta so I set up my own @gotosocial last evening.

Gently moving my followings over there.

It's a great opportunity to consider why I'm following different instances and how to organise the subjects.

I might end up with multiple accounts on the single instance to focus on a certain topic.

I'm building a smol web app for someone that displays issues on #GitHub, #GitLab and #Gitea resp. #Forgejo together.

Goal is to ease migration from one forge to another.

I could imagine that businesses and Open Source projects would consider this interesting for themselves.
