I think all leftists infatuated with dreams of revolution and transformation of the state esp in America should look how Trump and his cronies ACTUALLY got essentially all of their power:

I can blame Trump and republicans for shit ton of things, But they understand voting matters. Which, by the way, is also why they try so hard to get people to not vote. By, say, posing as leftists who are anti-voting.

I guess liars never listen about this stuff or they wouldn't be liars, but if you've been caught lying, you can't lie or defend your way out of it.

It seems counter productuve because you think you're a perfect liar (you're not), but the only way to regain trust is to start admitting to your lies. As many and as serious as possible, as quickly as possible.

That's what all the pathological liars in my life never got. If they know you lied and you say you didn't, it's all over.

@SirTapTap I've had sort of the opposite problem: They basically force you into lying to protect yourself (even about minor things) and make it so you can never be honest.

But if you get caught they act like they never give you a reason to lie (even about minor shit).

It's better to gamble on the lie that you might get caught in since there's a non-zero chance of it not fucking you over.

@LRRRonEarth I suggest the much more interesting spectator sport of watching football fans.
Specifically, Philadelphia Eagle’s fans. They have a reputation and uphold it fervently.
Their only competition in that respect are British football fans, who I have to thank for teaching the world how to seriously injure people using only newspaper.
