Apple has come under fire because its iPad Pro “Crush” ad depicts the destruction of items used by artists. Now folks are saying it's unoriginal too. X user Andy Allen pointed out that it bears a striking resemblance to a 2008 commercial for LG's Renoir KC910. Here's more from @9to5Mac.

@lin11c @StillIRise1963 indeed the basic needs of food clothing and to some extent shelter (including furnishings) have gone to a linear economy.... produced in bulk somewhere, distributed in and thrown out to a landfill. In the 70s we still had milk delivery, tv repair, cobblers, and main streets with plenty of specialty shops and far fewer big box stores. Is a return to more circular economy possible with global capitalism?

I'm an infertile atheist. In a fit of desperation while doing IVF, I went into a church and promised that if I could have children, I'd have them baptized. I had twins and returned to fulfill my promise because of superstition. I was then told that because they were IVF babies, they had no souls and couldn't be baptized. So, I went back to my original FUCK RELIGION stance. 🙄

@StillIRise1963 I had IVF triplets. A couple of other embryos were not formed as well and we authorized donation to research. ( this was a year after Ws ban on Fed funded stem cell research. ) . In a different time and state, we could have been murderers instead of helping future alzheimers and cancer patients. Somebody needs to ask Nikki baby if her IVF son had petri siblings and what happened to them.
