"Israel accused of using white phosphorus in Lebanon as potential for all-out war ratchets up
When Sky News contacted the IDF about our findings and those of Human Rights Watch, a spokesperson vehemently denied the illegal use of white phosphorus."
"An Army major is celebrating one year of having earned approval to wear his hair and tribe-specific regalia items in a way that honors his Native American heritage during appropriate service ceremonies."
@ManyRoads OMG. It makes me feel so good to see my Native brothers and sisters wherever I encounter them. For YEARS, as a child, I read about Native Americans as if they were people of LONG, long ago, dead and vanished, never to return. Now we have a Native woman in charge of our public lands and interior; a Native Hawai'ian representing his people in the Lege. A Native rep. from Kansas. When will we have more representatives from the ORIGINAL inhabitants of this land?
@ManyRoads So it seems like it’s a lot of talk for politicians to clean their images and appearing tough.
And a second batch of talk is with the ”escalation” vatniks. Boosting their followings and helping Putin’s party line so easily goes hand-in-hand, you’d think there might be a connection.
Yet, the limits were merely loosened a little. No deep strikes to where it matters with ATACMS.
It helps, but Ukraine still fighting with one arm tied behind their back. 😰
It really is counterproductive for western politicians to proclaim in a loud voice that restrictions to hit Russia have been lifted, while plenty still stand.
The few voices I still hear from within Russia tend to shift the blame and mock Ukraine for lack of ability instead.
You see how that could play into Putin’s hands, don’t you?
Why can’t the western politicians play this game? 🤔
