My concern with having too many services with any single company isn't account takeover.
If I went full in with Proton and you closed my account that is no small thing when you offer vpn, email, aliases, storage, calendar, and passwords.
There is also the privacy issue of any company knowing too much about me.
I spent too many years with Google to join another ecosystem.

Anyone else annoyed by the changes to mute and block that have occured on Mastodon?

I found a 6 hour mute useful when someone start filling my timeline with excessive posts. Just a little timeout for them so I can see what else other people are posting.

Maybe it's time to look at Bluesky.

Oh boy, there seems to be little #Bluetooth mess going on in camp #GrapheneOS .
Since an update a few days ago my #Pebble Time watch won't pair with my #Pixel 6 via #Gadgetbridge .
At first I thought it's me being stupid but it's actually a common problem.

I'm not surprised there are issues. So many updates lately (03, 06, 07, 08, 09, and 11) and they are going through Alpha and Beta pretty quick. No way proper testing is being done.

Where did I hear /e/os falls behind on updates? Various places - privacy advocates on youtube, people on Reddit, and two different forums I am a member of.

I wanted to know if the rumors are true.

Getting offended when someone asks a valid question speaks volumes.

GMapsWV https://www.f-droid.org/packages/us.spotco.maps/ is a Google maps front end.
I keep both GMapsWV and OSMAnd installed as each has their pros and cons.

As for a keyboard there is an OpenBoard fork on Github with gesture typing that works as good as Gboard imho. https://github.com/erkserkserks/openboard/releases
