A human player with a giant laser gun blasts an enemy raider standing next to a friendly Buddy, who has an emote of a hamburger with a question mark over him. The player picks up the dead raider and moves over to a food processor and throws the raider into the air, then the raider disappears and a chunk of something comes out labeled "Mystery Meat" which the player eats and then gives to Buddy.

Using my movement special code for stuff now: adding in a wall of shuriken with a key combo and special attack (plus it even works with the multiplier powerup!) #gaming #gamedev #pixelart

A demon hunter, Daisuke, moves around and throws shuriken which orbit around him. After the player switches to another hunter, Hitomi, the shuriken fly off at various angles. After purchasing another powerup, the amount of shuriken increase from 4 to 8 on the next attempt.

Following thru on making one of those new attacks for Genryu: setting up and purchasing the Wind Blast charm and testing it out on a Rogue Ronin. #gamedev #gaming #pixelart

A demon hunter, Hitomi, buys a new charm in a trinkets shop for her bird companion, Genryu and tests it out. It generates a small wind cyclone when the bird swoops down to attack. She goes outside of town and tests it on a foot soldier (Rogue Ronin) and it takes some damage and is blown backwards.

This is a devlog for Demon Legend, which goes over various parts in dev. The overall video goes as follows: A picture of the demon king with the Demon Legend Logo under it, followed by a short video of an old man talking, recalling the tale of Shuten-doji (the Demon King), followed by art tests of another demon hunter, Hitomi, doing new special wind related moves by summoning wind blades and having Genryu, her bird assistant, cause wind cyclones. Afterwards, a preview of cave music plays while a repeating gif image of a cave full of spiderwebs and cocoons twitch.

This is a gif mockup of a demon hunter woman, Hitomi, spinning in air and creating wind blades with her kicks that angle down then sharply upward as a special attack as she hovers for a moment then drops to the ground afterwards.

An old man is telling a demon hunter, Daisuke, lore about the demon king. Gather ye for the tale of the Demon King, Shuten Doji. It is said that once, this creature of darkness was just a man like any other. A strong and cunning yet brutish young man prone to drinking. Legend says he may have been cursed for being a drunken menace. Other tales differ and say he may have been a demon all along hiding as a human. Regardless, he turned to banditry and carved out his own territory. He collected many men and yokai. Or perhaps his men turned into yokai? They rampaged thru the lands, only from trickery were they banished from this world. Now he has returned to claim his revenge as a master of darkness, and we mourn our end of days.

A demon hunter, Hitomi, and her bird Genryu drop down and sit near a small pool of water that a red fish is leaping out of (between 3 small pools of water). They wait until it jumps out and then the bird, Genryu, is sent by Hitomi out to attack the fish and it dies and drops a meat item, which Hitomi then jumps over to collect.

I'm thinking of going to godot after my current project is over, even if unity rolls everything back. I'm heavily against a custom engine as I believe that, in my case, it's a waste of time, so godot is the next best thing.

Two demon hunters, Daisuke and Hitomi, are at a wall of a castle outside. Daisuke attempts to climb and jump from the top and grapple onto an awning and then swap to Hitomi to use her bird to carry her up top. After a few tries the grapple and swap / flight is successful and the player is now on the roof of the castle and approaches a stone throwing oni from behind.
