So, #CassetteBeasts is so far quite a neat little #Pokemon style game. Very different story and premise from Pokemon, and the battle system and set up is unique enough to be it's own separate thing while still sort of scratching the same itch.

Feels like it's set up for older kids and adult fans of Pokemon, sort of leaning into jokes that would more land with us. The designs feel better than the normal fan and alternative game fare. Plus the fusion mechanic is novel.

There is something of a tone difference in my recent #gaming purchases, lol.

Just the final game in the chill, friendly #AtelierRyza series, with the first one being one of my faovourite #RPG's of recent years, but also the latest #Diablo, #DiabloIV which I look forward to playing after how heavily I went into the third game.

But it's still funny seeing them both spill out of the same parcel, funny games to share a bunk.
