Had my first experience with a Raspi Pi today. After a considerable amount of klutzing around I finally got it to work. A mini NAS sharing a USB 1TB SSD via SMB for the benefit of my SONOS system. Making a ~30W conventional NAS almost obsolete. To be fair, it currently doesn’t offer any redundancy (RAID) but that is not a huge problem for this type of data and it could easily be fixed with a second SSD…

… I have to admit I have become a bit of a fan.
