Yesterday the Welsh Government published the Elections and Elected Bodies (Wales) Bill.

This is a really exciting Bill. If passed, not only will it introduce automatic voter registration, but it will also transform how electoral data is managed and published in Wales.

Most eye-catching is the promise of a digital "elections information platform", with a remit which includes candidate statements.
