FREE BART BYSTANDER INTERVENTION CARDS: You can ask any BART station agent for free bystander intervention cards, which you can use if you’re experiencing or witnessing harassment in stations & trains.

The "I got you." card lets someone else know you're there to assist. A "You got me?" card lets another passenger know you need help.

For more information about the bystander intervention cards, read the BART article at https://www.bart.gov/news/articles/2023/news20230920.

Image of the You Got Me bystander intervention card. Text reads: Someone is harassing me right now. Can you stand with me while this is happening? If I ask, would you text BART police 510.200.0992, use the BART Watch App, or contact the train operator for me? Train operator intercom is by the exit door on new 3-door train cars.
