I love the details above these windows on a tenement on Peel Street in the Partick area of Glasgow, especially the cherubs in boats getting pulled along by swans. The building dates from 1875 and was designed by H and D. Barclay.

This is a rather wonderful set of oriel windows on a townhouse on Marlborough Avenue in the Broomhill area of Glasgow. They're just enough to break up the otherwise flat facade of the buildings and so draw the eye in.

Love this stained glass on Ross's Original Bar on Mitchell Street in Glasgow. It's housed in Gordon Chambers which was designed by Burnet, Boston and Carruthers. It was built in 1905 and I presume this is also when the stained glass dates from.
This is a really impressive oriel window on Salmon, Son and Ritchie's 1860s Glasgow Institute for the Deaf and Dumb on Prospecthill Road on the Southside of Glasgow. I particularly like the bat at its base.
This beautiful painted glass panel is part of a ground floor sash window in a tenement in the Woodlands area of Glasgow. It's function seems to be to add a bit of privacy. Each ground floor window in the tenement block has (or had) one of these panels at its base, and each seems to feature a diffetent species of Scottish bird. In this case, I think it's a Siskin.
I love a bow window on a Glasgow tenement (and yes that's meant to be bow rather than bay). This one on Highburgh Road in the West End was designed by Hugh and David Barclay, and was built in 1901.
Love these wonderfully designed stair windows on the former Glasgow Protestant Institution for Orphan and Destitute Girls on Westland Drive in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. It was built in 1891 and was designed by S. Henbest Capper.
I love these windows on the West George Street elevation of 163 Hope Street in Glasgow. They're part of a very subtle turret running up this side of the building.
Love this stained glass above the entrance to Waterstones on Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow. This building started its life as a warehouse before being converted into the La Scala cinema in 1912 by Duff and McKissack. As far as I can work out, the stained glass dates from this original conversion.
A fantastic set of three Thomsoneseque attic windows on Shields Road in Glasgow. I love the shape of the space created between them, which somehow seems just as solid as the surrounding stone.
