Never got hands on a Metal Gear Solid title as a kid, but gave the first one a try on PS1 couple of months ago. I understand that it must have been mind blowing back in the days, but obviously I miss the childhood memories to appreciate it completely. 🐍
What are your thoughts on the first Metal Gear Solid titles on PS1/2? 🎮
I experienced this game on Game Boy as a child. A friend of mine had it. I played the SNES version recently and really enjoyed it, although at the end it gets really hard and also a little bit unfair from my perspective. 🏁
Did you play it and what's your opinion compared to other 2D racing games like Top Gear? 🏎️
💡 The game was released in 1994 for the Game Boy, NES, Master System, Genesis/Mega Drive, Game Gear, SNES and MS-DOS. While gameplay is the same, technological differences between the systems forced changes resulting in six fairly different versions.
💡 SEGA originally hired Michael Jackson as composer for the music on the game but later dropped him over the infamous allegations of child molestation.
Resident Evil 2 was my start into the series. Still remember some of the jumpscares because they really shocked me as a little boy. 😆
What was your first Resident Evil experience?
💡 Total Recall is a 1990 platform game developed and published by Ocean Software that was released for the C64, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, and NES. The NES version was notably different from the others, being developed by a different team (Interplay).
💡 This is one of the few MegaMan games, and the first one, to directly imply in its English-language releases that Mega Man's name is Rockman (or in this case simply Rock), as seen in the introduction to the game.
