Started playing Batman: Arkham Asylum recently. I last played the game in 2015, and I've never played any of the sequels, so I figured I'd go back and give the original a go before continuing the series.
So far, it's held up pretty well! I'm not too great at the combat, but it's fun enough. Love the sort of Metroidvania style of the game—although maybe it's closer to The Legend of Zelda, with the different buildings acting as dungeons.
Today I decided to do nothing but build mechanics and learn the Unreal Engine, hence the many posts... hope you like the result. I took the animation from mixamo and made the material for the energy field
One of my dinky and unique bits of Elite Dangerous memorabilia. Pinched (not quite stolen) from the Frontier board room. And they'll never catch me mwahahahaha etc.
Morning Folks! Yesterday I tried the whole "get to 25 and then just do raids" thing for alt leveling in #WorldOfWarcraft#PandariaRemix and it is very much "not my jam". My appetite for chain-running raids does not appear to be what it used to be. This also feels like a strategy for maximizing bronze gain and not necessarily levels.
Oh! Since I finally got a new PC (donated by amazing people; I can't afford that shit), I've been able to try Control. Had that on my wish list for so long.
Loving it.

Hey Bandits! Hope you've all had a wonderful bank holiday Monday (if you're in the UK).
Sorry for the quiet one, today. I have been sinking myself into a family outing, but I have also been delving into Theme Park World and wanted to share some memories with you 🥰
A surprisingly technical fighter - I expected the first in the Soul Calibur series to be a bit jankier! Slower combat than I like and dodgy voices, but an impressive set of modes and a really fun core combat system!
Awhile back I had some odd physics ideas but was having trouble finding user-friendly tools to try them out.
Somewhere along the way I stumbled across Principia, & while the base version wasn't capable of what I wanted to try, I appreciated it regardless for being a cool, user friendly physics toy.
Sometime maybe I'll try modifying it to try out my odd ideas. Give it a look if you're into digital toys!
If you're into tower defense games, Anuto TD on Android via F-Droid is a solid FOSS one. Has this charming hand-drawn look to it as well and a number of maps to play with.
Also, and this may just be me, but I really enjoy that it's played in portrait/vertical view instead of landscape/horizontal. Dunno why but I find handling phones in landscape awkward feeling, personally.
For those interested, as mentioned in the first post, you can download Anuto TD for free via F-Droid. Here's a link, which if you've F-Droid or Droidify installed should prompt you to open via them, I think.
