If #Uber punishes us drivers (we’re allowed a certain amount of refusals before our earned-status gets rescinded) for not accepting rides, then riders who have low ratings should pay more.
Why should I risk a 4.5-rated rider when the next one is 4.99? It takes a LOT of bad behavior to earn a downgraded rating of 4.5! #ridesharing
#Wendys is so upset that people are criticizing their plan to introduce "#surgePricing" like #Uber and #Lyft. They insist that their plan to dynamically readjust pricing is totally not surge pricing! Tho they haven't been able to articulate how, exactly, their plan is different. You just have to take their word for it! It's different, dammit.

Uber, naturally, lost its shit. The company claims to be more than a (geometrically impossible) provider of convenient transportation for Torontonians, but also a provider of good jobs for working people. And to prove it, the company has promised to pay its drivers "120% of minimum wage." As I write for Ricochet, that's a whopper, even by Uber's standards:"
Ostensibly to help reduce stock dilution caused by stock awards to core staff (including the CEO), once again (as I've pointed out before), it shows that Uber's #business model is nothing to do with investment in #innovation & everything to do with #wagetheft & expoiting #workers.
Uber doesn't need any tech innovation or new kit, so investment not required; just keeps sh*ting on the drivers to make a profit!
