Hey #trrpg folks, has anyone of you played #17thCenturyMinimalist , an #osr game for „historical low-fantasy“ settings? I‘m always on the lookout for an osr rules set that aligns well with early modern (inspired) settings. I‘m just reading through the 17thCM rules and like what I see. I wonder how the luck mechanics turn out in the game. They are clearly intended to counter the „lethality“ of the game (hp do not increase), but I’m not a big fan of meta-currency, re-roll mechanics. Any thoughts?
Uhhh. Managed to barely avoid TPK in Stonehell today. And with barely avoid I mean "had the last surviving member of the party drag our unconscious bodies to safety".
So yes, those Death and Dismemberment charts do make stuff a bit less deadly.
Shouldn't have gone straight down to level 2.
Met some rather angry bugs.

Critical Role’s Matt Mercer just started talking about Tal’dorei Reborn on Demiplane, during the sponsored section of the stream. He talked about their Nexus plans too. #dnd#trrpg#crtitcalrole
