Latest #MegaDrive pickup is more for the shelf than it is for playing. I regret having sold off my #SegaGenesis copies of the #PhantasyStar games, and no way am I rebuying the trio for the price it'd now take to do so.
So, much cheaper MD copies at least get #Sega's RPG franchise back in my collection.
Dark Wizard is 30 years now. Created by Kenji Terada (of Final Fantasy fame). I celebrate it by re-starting the game again, new footage recorded from real hardware. Though graphics are mediocre, the depth of gameplay and story still warrant playing it. I played my #SegaGenesis for quite a while this morning. Mostly #Truxton, which I didn’t know I had until recently when I found it inside a different case. Good game. Apparently there is a Truxton Extreme coming to PS5 next year.
I also played some original #Xbox. I wanted to try getting into Halo 2’s campaign but without the ability to invert the x-axis, I gave up on that idea. Same with Doom 3.
I also played #ProjectGothamRacing 2, which I always love for how it incorporates my music in-game.
