@Natanox yeah, IDK the exact details but I'm convinced the #ARM64/ "#AppleSilicon"-based #MacBook|s are way locked down and I'm not even shure there are means to crack their security known outside of Apple...
They shurely have some means to reset it into "Vendor" or "Factory Reset" but I'd not be surprised if that's some kid of "Jig" similar to the [#PS3] and has actual crpytography to authenticate, so it's not like some simple DFU mode...
Booted up my PS3 ultra slim this morning, having a look at my download list. Think I'm going to pick up a 1TB SSD for this thing and download all the games on there. Probably should do it soon, Sony already tried to shut down these servers. @lexd0g yeah, I'd say using a #VitaTV + #PS3 Controller would be more reasonable instead, espechally since the #VitaTV spits out video upscaled to 720p60 & 1080p60 so it's easier to handle with cheapo consumer hardware...
That's worse than #PSN+ or #XBLG cuz at least if you've downloaded a game that was part of said subscriptions on #PS3 or #Xbox360 you could at least replay it if you rebewed your subscription.
OFC the Idea is with #NSAbook's subscription is to make cancellation impossible...
My living room #AV setup. It’s amusing to me that I have the #PS5 and #PS3 hooked up, because the PS5 plays PS4 games, and nearly all PS1/PS2 games I’d want to play have been remade/remastered.
On the Kinivo (an HDMI switch) are a Wii U (for #retrogaming emulation, mostly) and my basement PC (via a very long cable).
Also, I’m still pissed at Logitech for discontinuing the Harmony (which this image is from). Best universal remote system ever devised.
#Sony should've been forced to support #OtherOS for the entire #PS3 lifespan and not be allowed to just pay settlement cheques - that ain't being offered worldwide anyways - and still retroactively #NERF a product.
