Problem is daughter is human and Mama is a wolf that's—in the vernacular of David Brin—uplifted and intelligent. Scene needed to be frightening as well as Indelicate and maybe somewhat squick. I will just reload my mailbox for confirmation of an appointment and maybe, I will go and play with my kittens, and, maybe, who knows, I will get so bored that I finally do the last bit of nano prep today :)
