😁 just thought I'd include a view of what 90% of my explorations look like ... between the rivers, bridges, beaches, murals, and other destinations there's countless miles of this. Sometimes eerily empty, sometimes chaotic and crowded ... some busy roadways even without pedestrian sidewalks - but I try to avoid those if possible 😉
There have been some bugs and missing features, and today @trwnh closed two bug reports concerning reblogs as "not planned". Will @pixelfed continue to support reblogs? Because without, it's kind of useless to me.
Ihr seid bestimmt auch auf Instagram. Lässt man dort sein Profil offen, kommen derzeit täglich neue „Spam-Weiber“, wie ich dazu sage. Sie folgen, liken und kommentieren ohne Zusammenhang mit dem jeweiligen Bild.
Den eigenen Account auf privat setzen, ist aber auch suboptimal, weil potenzielle neue Follower nicht sehen, ob der Inhalt des Accounts sie anspricht.

Hope it gives a good impression of the house. I didn't get any pictures from the outside and we didn't stay too long. It was so busy (I felt very anxious with so many people, even though they'll be my new neighbors, time enough to meet them later on) and it was very warm (28°C) and I was also tired... So my parents and I walked around, took pics and the vids I'll share soon, and we headed home again before traffic would be bad...
Time enough in a few months to take make pictures when it's done and when I'll be working on it... Alone and with friends! 😁
most of the district is on buildings accessible by the general public, however a few sections were on lots like this one, with chain link fence surrounding the area 🤷♂️

It might be obvious and old news, but on my rare logins to #Instagram I saw a new message of their privacy policy to be updated this month: Every content from every post will be used to train their AI.
If you are a visual artist of any kind and use the platform, #Meta will use your creation against you, literally. You either learn how to publish and own your data, or you’ll be stolen.
@mykhaylo I think there will be no exact 1-1 replacement, but #pixelfed still an great alternative I believe it will improve with time. It still a niche so far...
Likewise #Mastodon growth, I also believe that this new way of selling public data through #AI will impulse initiatives like #pixelfed.
