Tired of sipping this one blue unbranded box? Why not using our four new options?arms_sip_milk, arms_sip_milk_devil, arms_sip_milk_expired and arms_sip_pilk
Since I can't code the #NeomojiMixer while at work, I can at least brainstorm about its architecture, right? Constructive feedback is welcome.
/create return a PNG based on parts named in POSTed JSON.
/list return a JSON of all parts available.
/list/{arms} return a JSON of all parts in the category {arms}.
/random return a PNG with randomly chosen elements for each part.
/part/deatil/{mouth_woozy} return a JSON with details about {mouth_woozy}.
/part/image/{mouth_woozy} return the PNG of the part {mouth_woozy}.
/create/identicon return a PNG of a neomoji based on the POSTed sha256 hash. Attempts are made to keep it kinda consistent despite new parts being added all the time.
/beta/animate return an APNG based on a POSTed JSON. Initially, it's two 0.2s frames infinitely looping, arms aren't allowed, body doesn't change, eyes and mouth are a list of parts.
/copyright return a JSON with text about who made it and a link to the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 Deed
/contact return a JSON with a link to the mixer page, the git, and the Fediverse account for the mixer.
is there a place we can submit ideas/requests/samples for parts to add to the #NeomojiMixer? I'm pretty sure your git would be flooded if you used that.
I finally finished everything I wanted to do before leaving the BETA state and it is finally done!
There is also a special domain for this occasion!
From now on you can reach the neomojimixer via https://neomojimixer.com !!!
(Don't worry all your old links, even the ones that point to a specific combination will still work!)
So what are our current stats?
144 different bodies
35 different eyes
30 different mouths
50 different arms
(46 of which come in twelve different colours!)
That makes a total of 743 elements with 7,560,000 possible combinations!
I won't stop updating the neomojimixer, but I'm happy with the state it's in and to be honest: I need a little break from the project. I will update it with more elements in the next months, but until after Whitsun I will just play some games in my spare time instead of working on it.
Don't hesitate to make suggestions here! I look forward to making more and more combinations!
Thanks to a quick repsonse from @vftdan the neodino and neohaj is now available again!
There is a very minor bug that when the side is loaded with one of those bodies chosen by random the number of the total posibilities will only show a small fraction, but thats something that will change back to normal once all the arms has been edited back in.
And @freeplay added tooltips to the parts section so now you can see what it is called when selected.
BTW: These neodino and neohaj emojis will be available in the #neomojimixer once I finished the very tedious task of improving all of the arms (just about 33 different arms in nine different colours) and then I have to add three new colours! (blue, pink and green)
I had assumed that #emoji which were unique to an instance were most likely created by someone on that instance. That's definitely not the case given how few are unique to is-a.wyvern.rip, the solo instance for Volpeon... creator of the original neofox and neocat.
Pleroma.envs.net (hereafter PEN) has the most unique ones with a whopping 191. Second and third are void.rehab and woem.space with 42 and 41.
There's no single reason PEN has so many but the neofox_halo series, unique neobread variants, and so many more combinations of hugs are major contributors.
Gib.schmus.is has a lot of unique woozy variants, but not all of them.
I would have thoughtneobun came out in the past week by how suddenly it appeared and spread but it's apparently older than that? I found a post on tech.lgbt mentioning neobun already existed but they seem to be the server with the most unique ones on it. Just another piece of evidence that I have more work to do.
I'm starting to see a few created by #neomojimixer getting added to servers. That's cool. I'm glad that project is improving and spreading.
I wonder what makes things like neocat_final_form almost universal among servers that have it but neocat_bongo_fast has at least 4 different names.
